Click on over to http://www.thenoise-boston.com/poll2005.asp. and vote for us (really it's voting for John Holmstrom...but you get the idea)

So we got the missprinted cd covers fixed...so if you have one of the "wrong ones" well, you have a collectors item!
If you wanna get a copy of Fat Drunk and Stoopid and it isn't in your local store ...you can get it on our get stuff page (paypal) or send $12 to Meat Depressed PO Box 653 Foxborough, MA 02035 and we'll ship one right out to you!

8/25/2005
Ok, I know...I know...
The track listing on the back of the CD is wrong...Punk Rock Girls is really Track 11 and
PATRIOTS is really track 12. What do you expect from drunks?

8/18/2005
It's finally done. I have the FAT, DRUNK & STOOPID CDS....All pressed up and ready to go! So get ready for the CD release party's. Only 3 shows are gonna happen with the original line-up (2 announced already...and one we'll be doing for our buddy Lou in November.)

4/26/2005
Well, our RAMONES obsession has finally paid off!
We(Pete Depressed, Vic Leemon, Chris and Cathy Cah) Are gonna be Marky Ramones band on Monday, May 9th at the Lucky Dog in Worcester!!! They're showing some Ramones movies...then Marky is gonna do some Q& A..then a set of Ramones songs with us! Hey Ho Let's Goooooooooooooooooooo!

12/21/2004
Hey, Kids, We really mean it this time! Fat Drunk and Stupid is almost done. The fantastic Ed Stasium is mixing and mastering as we speak, and soon you will be able to mosh and spit beer in the comfort of your own home to all your favorite MD classics (It's been 4 years, so they aren't quite new anymore!)

8/11/2004
ROUND UP THE USUAL SUSPECTS! That's right, you heard right, the original Meat lineup(BOB, JOHN, VIC & PETE)will have the pleasure of opening for the Queers this coming Sunday at T.T.'s in Boston. They won't let you smoke anymore, but you can still spit beer, I understand. See you there, Vic

2/2/2004
There's nothing more to say...than...
HERE WE GO PATRIOTS, HERE WE GO!

11/4/2003
Well the line-up changes should slow down for awhile....until I find some new way to piss off band members...Dave, Cathy and Chris from Musclecah along with...well...me....are the new Meat Depressed.

9/20/2003
We're looking for a few good men (shut up Bob, that's not what I mean) No, really...First I'd like to thank all the guys that have become Depressed for a show or two...but the time has come to find some new MD's that aren't in other bands (It seems that right as we get going with a new line-up...someone has too many conflicts with their other band..or bands) So, If you're a bass player or drummer and wanna get in on the middle floor....drop me an email at mdbooking@hotmail.com

9/2/2003
I don't think I could say it any better than Jesse Kenmore did on the noise board today...so I'll just quote him...

Felony Phil Suarez 1967-2003
"Our dear friend Phil (The Kenmores/To Hell You Ride/The syphlloids)lost his battle with cancer. He passed yesterday evening at Brigham and Womens surrounded by his family and friends.Phils incredible courage, warmth, humility, humor and care for others was never even close to touched by the cancer and chemo that ultimately destroyed his body.He was and will always be the golden hearted pit bull of a man who's spirit and soul is far too powerful to be vanquished by mere death. The Suarez family are very aware and gratefull to the Boston rock community for the outpouring of compassion and support in recent weeks.Funeral and memorial service arrangements are currently being made and I will post them as soon as they are finalized. There will also be a memorial/benifit show at The Linwood on Saturday November 1st.This benifit was already in the works and the proceeds will now go to the family to try and help with the burnen of tremedous financial strain that has resulted from this long battle.I am so sorry to bring you all this news, but at least Phils' suffering is over and we can begin to take back our friend thatthis horrible disease has been holding hostage."

6/12/2003
YOU CAN'T TELL THE PLAYERS WITHOUT A SCORECARD!
Here we go again with the line-up changes...but at least it'll be faces you know and love...Pete Abdou and Tony Dilorenzo are back! (at least for now) You all know Tony and Pete as the guys that played onPleased To Meat You. At this rate, you should expect to see the Dave Evans, Dave Green, Dave Quinn and Peter line-up to be soon followed by the Pete, Vic, John Canning and John Blomberg line-up! God Help Us!

6/4/2003
No, Really...FAT DRUNK & STUPID will be out this year...just a few more details to look into... Bob, John, Vic and Pete have a few overdubs to add...and there's talk of adding a song or two...then it's off to Daniel Rey to mix the CD! Look for FD&S including the hit single (Here We Go)PATRIOTS! in stores in September (Just in time for the new Patriots season!)

5/28/2003
On Friday, May 30th, Vic, John, Bob and Pete will play their first set of Meat Depressed songs together in over a year...It's a benefit for Pete Depressed's nephew (who recently passed away) So cough up the extra bucks and come check this out...The USM(Bob and Johns band) will also play!See shows page for details

5/12/2003

Hey, I just want to thank all the great bands and all the cool people we've had the pleasure to meet over the last four years. Thanks for giving us one hell of a send-off at the Safari Friday night!! Thanks to Musclecah, White Trash, The Syphlloids, and Suspect...we couldn't have asked for a more killer line-up! Thanks to all you hoodlums and hood-ettes who spat beer in our eyes, soaked our clothes, and made our guitars sticky. Thanks to all you Police Officers who decided not to pull over that suspicious red van at 3:00 AM. Thanks to all you Mona girls, you know who you are. I'll stop here. It's been a good ride, but it ain't over yet. Stay tuned, cause we're finishing up "Fat Drunk and Stupid" very soon, and I think it blows away "Deface".Take it easy, Vic

9/12/2001
Well, I know the whole world is waiting to see what
Meat Depressed is going to do about the attacks on
New York and Washington yesterday, so here's my
official press release:
Rome is burning and the Vandals are nowhere to be
found, and we all wantblood. This is the worst
thing that has happened to our country in our lifetime.
But what can we do?
First things first, don't do anything stupid. If
the Prez decides to drop some big eggs on somebody, that's
his call. Right now there's moredead and injured
than they can count, the AMerican REd Cross is
overwhelmed, so help them out with $$ and blood
(if you got lots of tats and piercings, they might
only want your $$!) 1 800 GIVE LIFE is their number.
Second, and just as important,if there's people
in your neighborhood who originally came from the
Middle East, don't give them a hard time! The fact
that they live here means that they have had to
jump through hoops and work really hard to become
Americans so they could get away from those terrorist
assholes. Your neighbors are the good guys!
See ya later.

9/7/2001
Hey, punk rock fans, if you blinked then you missed 'em, but last night on the MTV Music Awards U2's Bono actually invited Johnny, Marky and C.J. out on the stage, before they gave them the bum's rush outta there 15 seconds later. Thanks, MTV! You don't need us and we sure the hell don't need you!

8/28/2001
You can now buy Meat Depressed stuff on the Get Stuff page, including your own copy of Scene of the Crime. More stuff will be added daily, so keep checking back dammit!
